OUR DOGS

Keshia is the foundation bitch for Dreamaker Rhodesian Ridgebacks. She is the true “hunter” of our pack and her happiest moments in life have been spent running up and down the mountains and valleys in pursuit of game. In her younger days, she could easily climb up trees to catch squirrels and has actually taken down a few deer on her own. She easily completed her AKC Championship Title at 18 months of age. She went on to win numerous Best of Breeds over the top male specials as well as several group placements. After winning Best of Opposite Sex in Veteran Sweepstakes and getting Third Place in the Veteran Bitch Class (9-11 yrs.) at the Rhodesian Ridgeback National Specialty in Perry, Georgia in 2005, she is now officially retired from the show ring, and will spend the rest of her days basking in the sun or out chasing critters in the mountains.

When Shaq entered our lives, and we were introduced to our first experience with a dog of the Breed. Because the boys take a little longer to mature mentally and physically, Shaq was quite a handful for a while. However, when he finally grew up, he turned out to be what we lovingly call “our gentle giant”. He finished his AKC Championship easily. Shaq is now happlily spending the rest of his days here with as a pampered pet.

Cassie is a daughter of Keshia (above) and was out of Dreamaker's first litter. She is a lovely brown-nosed girl and was tied for the number one RRCUS Brood Bitch for 2005. All of Cassie's points for her AKC Championship Title were earned from the Bred-by Exhibitor Class. Also, in 2005, there were five of her get who received their AKC Championship Titles that resulted in Cassie also earning an AKC Register of Merit Title as well. She still has some young dogs out of her two litters that we hope will receive their AKC Titles in 2006.
